Abstract

Transparent local governance is essential for strengthening citizen trust, promoting accountability, and encouraging active public participation in community development. By ensuring open access to government information and fostering meaningful citizen engagement, local governments can improve public service delivery and institutional credibility despite challenges related to resources, technology, and implementation. Ultimately, transparency serves as a catalyst for responsive governance, democratic participation, and sustainable local development.
