Abstract

Career anxiety has become a growing psychological concern among students and young professionals as they face increasing pressure to make career decisions amid social, economic, and technological uncertainty. This paper examines the psychological factors contributing to career anxiety, emphasizing the roles of self-efficacy, career adaptability, and social comparison, while highlighting the importance of institutional support and resilience-building strategies. It concludes that fostering flexible career development, realistic expectations, and psychological well-being enables learners to navigate uncertainty with greater confidence and preparedness for an evolving workforce.
